Citrus is a major component of Florida’s ag industry, so it’s a major focus of many researcher institutions, such as the University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). The website offers summaries and updated results of current and past citrus research. New information is posted often, helping citrus growers stay up-to-date with the latest information. Broken into sections, the website offers information on research having to do with:
The Economics of Citrus. These research topics include looking at the economics of citrus, such as examining pest management and high-density plantings.
Grove Management Practices. Research topics include biostimulants, Individual Protective Covers (IPCs), AI and robotics, and more.
