If you’re in the ag industry, fertilizer is an important component in your operation. Consider attending the Annual 4R Summit, hosted by The Fertilizer Institute (TFI). Slated for June 14th and 15th in Indianapolis, Indiana, the summit is geared towards educating interested parties in the 4R Nutrient Stewardship program. Registration for the 4R Summit opened in late April. TFI President Chris Jahn maintained those interested and invested in nutrient stewardships, increasing ag productivity, and minimizing environmental impacts should sign up for the summit.
The event will feature presentations and speakers from a wide array of 4R stakeholders, such as growers, retailers, government representatives, researchers, and more. This year’s summit will focus on the variety of ways the 4R Principles of Nutrient Stewardship— Right Source, Right Rate, Right Time, and Right Place— are successfully being put into practice around the country utilizing Best Management Practices (BMPs); or those that benefit both growers and the environment. Offered in a breakout session format, attendees will be able to choose which presentations and workshops to attend.
A detailed 4R Summit agenda shows a variety of sessions and presentations focusing on agriculture, fertilizer application stewardship and the environment; presenters include business leaders, organization representatives, government advisors, and grower advocates.
