The Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo was held August 21–22 in Tampa, and it was a wealth of information for Florida citrus growers and industry partners. A UF/IFAS Tip of the Week article shared that “citrus educational sessions were held during the afternoon of the first day of the event and in the morning on the second day. There were 12 presentations and one researcher panel that covered a wide range of topics.” Happily, if you missed it, the presentations and UF/IFAS publications that were first released at the Expo. UF/IFAS Presentations and Publications

There were three publications offered by UF/IFAS and available at the UF/IFAS Citrus Extension booth. They are available online also:

  1. The annual 2024–2025 UF/IFAS Florida Citrus Production Guide. The article maintained you can “you can obtain a hard copy from your local citrus Extension agent or get a digital copy online.”
  2. “Keeping Citrus Growers Informed,”“a research book containing updates on more than 70 ongoing UF/IFAS research projects.”
  3. “Growing Citrus – A multiprong HLB management strategy (August 2024)”. “This short 17-page booklet is a brief guide to the most important things growers should keep in mind when developing HLB management plans for groves.”
