National Farm Safety and Health Week is fast approaching. Scheduled for September 17th-23rd, it’s organized by the National Education Center for Agricultural Safety (NECAS). The event is aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of farming and promote safety in the industry. According to the NECAS website, “2021 data for the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that the agricultural sector is still the most dangerous in America with 453 fatalities.” The annual event’s focus is “No One Can Take Your Place;” see webinars on safety you can watch to observe the week.
