The Florida Citrus Growers’ Institute, organized by the UF/IFAS Statewide Citrus Team, is coming April 14th to Avon Park.

“The 2026 Florida Citrus Growers’ Institute is an opportunity for Florida citrus growers to come together to learn about effective management of HLB and other challenging pests and diseases affecting the industry;” that’s the message shared about the event by organizers; the event focuses on combating Huanglongbing, also known as HLB or citrus greening.
