The 2020 Florida Citrus Show is right around the corner; see this year’s lineup for Florida citrus professionals.
The 2020 Florida Citrus Show is scheduled for January 22nd and 23rd in Ft. Pierce, Florida. The event is billed as “THE show for Florida citrus professionals,” and it offers and array of exhibits, educational sessions, and networking opportunities for Florida citrus growers. Florida Citrus Show Highlights
According to the event’s website, the Citrus Show offers the opportunity to “celebrate the rewards and overcome the challenges associated with citrus production as you join growers from across the state…” It features an array of educational program sessions, exhibits, and networking opportunities like continental breakfasts, lunches, and cocktail receptions.
The website maintains attendees can “sample new varieties, enjoy exhibits featuring cutting-edge products and technologies, and get the latest information from leading growers and agriculture experts on production trends, grove management practices, marketing, and insect and disease management strategies.”
Topics of interest include:
- New rootstock and scion updates
- High-Density planting to achieve higher yields and faster production in the age of HLB
- Promoting root health and understanding its morphology and physiology

- Market update focusing on uncommitted fruit

There will also be a new “Solutions From Industry Workshop.” According to the website, this is “a special session dedicated to suppliers who have products and services that can be applied in the grove today. Whether it be tools to fight HLB or other business needs, you can learn about solutions in this new workshop.”
