The Florida Citrus Hall of Fame Nominations due date is fast approaching, so nominate a deserving person today.
The Florida Citrus Hall of Fame is calling for nominations for 2022, and those nominations are due November 1st, whether in an electronic format or through the mail. According to the Hall of Fame, eligible inductees are “industry leaders who made significant contributions to the Florida citrus industry as pioneers or in the areas of harvesting, packing, processing, marketing, science or education.” See the details below for the Florida Citrus Hall of Fame Nominations for 2022.
Florida Citrus Hall of Fame Nominations
The Citrus Hall of Fame requests that submissions include “detailed relevant background information describing the nominee’s contributions to the citrus industry, along with a photo of the nominee,” adding that “the impact to the citrus industry will be the main consideration; however other activities may also be of interest.”
Nomination forms can be found here in PDF or DOC form to download and use as a cover form. Then, the information of a nominee’s contributions can be shared in whatever format preferred, such as a written document; the Citrus Hall of Fame requests the information to be “creative but not too lengthy.”
